Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Souffleur (souffleur.co), a rehearsal tool for stage actors. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Souffleur lets you import or write scripts, analyze them with AI, generate synthetic voice audio for your scene partners, and track your memorization progress. Features may evolve, and AI output can contain mistakes — always check against your actual script.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 15 years old, or have parental consent.
Your content and copyright
Scripts and notes you upload remain yours. You grant us only the technical license needed to store, display and process them to provide the service (including sending script text to our AI and voice providers).
You may only upload material you have the right to use. Rehearsing from a script you legitimately have (as a cast member, student, or for a public-domain work) is the intended use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any copyrighted script complies with the rights you hold; we may remove content following a substantiated infringement notice.
Acceptable use
Don't use Souffleur to infringe others' rights, to generate abusive content, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell access. We apply fair-use limits to AI features; we may adjust these limits to keep the service sustainable.
Availability and warranty
Souffleur is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which permanently erases your content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before taking effect. Questions: contact@souffleur.co. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
